National Trust Treehouse

~ Saturday, 16th July 2011

We were recently asked to provide advice to the National Trust at Plas Newydd on Anglesey in relation to a new treehouse being built at the property.  The head gardener, Paul O'Byrne asked us to evaluate the condition of the previous tree which housed the treehouse, and to consider possible other candidates.  We undertook Picus surveys of the 200+ year-old sycamore and a mature oak as part of the planning process.
